Suppose ABC company has a share price of Rs. 1000 and declares to give Rs. 20 per share. Then Dividend Yield OF company ABC IS (20X100)/1000 = 2%

Now, suppose XYZ company has a share price of Rs. 2000 and declares to give Rs. 20 per share. Then Dividend Yield OF company XYZ IS (20X100)/2000 = 1%
